I guess that's what happens when you go browsing tutorials late at night.

So. Yeah. One of ~MXDP's previous Jeeves And Bertie In Bed pieces was the first bit of Jeeves and Wooster fanart I ever worked on, waaay back in the days when Jooster was still squick for me (SO GLAD THOSE DAYS ARE OVER). I called it airbrushing back then.

I was wrong. So very very wrong. All I was really doing was using the Brush tool at minimum hardness.

Now, on the other hand, BERTIE'S HAIR ACTUALLY LOOKS INTERESTING.

At this point, I WOULD say "oh if only Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie knew about this..."

...but the beautiful this is, they do. And they approve of it.

Anyway, I was so head-exploded by my sudden leap in improvement that I HAD to try this glorious coloring on my own art...
