Passing the Sonic Torch

Before anyone says anything, YES I KNOW that my none of my shadows are in the right place. I wasn't being very painstaking with the coloring on this one.

This is something I've been wanting to do for weeks. The new season of Doctor Who rapidly approaches and I wanted to do something with Ten handing over the reins to Eleven, maybe somewhere in the Doctor's subconscious.

Before I colored this, I was much more satisfied with Eleven than Ten. I felt that I'd made David Tennant look like a generic anime character and Matt Smith...actually looked like Matt Smith. I think they look more like themselves in color, though. Coloring was a bit half-assed, admittedly, because I did that portion in the common room where my mind was half on the picture and half on my housemate's conversations. I'm just glad that I did some remote semblance of justice to David Tennant's hair in a way sorta almost. I think I got the coloring of Matt Smith's hair better on this one than my first drawing of him (WHY IS HE SO MUCH EASIER TO DRAW THAN DAVID TENNANT. ASIDE FROM THE HAIR).

In case you were wondering, yes I DID draw this while I should've been working on papers for class. Sometimes art just triumphs.
